Jieun Baek is finishing her Ph.D. in Public Policy at the University of Oxford, where she researches the motivations of early-stage political dissenters in authoritarian states. She has conducted fieldwork in Myanmar, where she interviewed and taught former political prisoners, political activists, and internally-displaced persons.

Founder and President, One Day’s Wages 

Eugene Cho is the President & CEO of Bread for the World, a non-partisan Christian advocacy organization, and the Founder & President of One Day’s Wages, a grassroots movement. Through his work, he engages in advocacy work for the hungry and works towards alleviating extreme global poverty. Eugene is also a pastor and published author of two books.

Julie Hwang is EVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Prosper Marketplace. At Prosper Marketplace, she oversees all legal and regulatory affairs. Julie is an experienced corporate attorney, having served as Assistant General Counsel at One Kings Lane and as an attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C.

Andrew Kim is a private-practice gastroenterologist and founding member of the GI Center of California. He also serves as the president of the Korean American Graduate Medical Association (KAGMA), as well as serving as the Chair of Utilization Management at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital.

David J. Kim is Managing Director of DigiTx Partners and board member of Embr Labs, NeoSensory, Siris Medical, Tissue Analytics, Savonix, and WellDoc. He has a unique set of professional experiences and educational background to support entrepreneurs in the digital health space, bringing both business and clinical expertise to venture capital.



Kaleb Group

Eui-Jin Kim is the founder of Kaleb Group, a development, asset management, syndication, and brokerage firm based out of Bellevue, WA, and Irvine, CA. Kaleb Group currently manages over $300 million worth of assets and relationships from private individuals to high-level institutions on a local, regional, and international scale.




Lorence Kim, M.D. was the Chief Financial Officer of Moderna from April 2014 to June 2020, raising $4.4 billion of capital for the company and deploying resources to discover and advance a pipeline of development candidates across infectious disease, oncology, rare disease, and autoimmune disease. Dr. Kim was also a member of the Board of Directors of Seres Therapeutics from October 2014 to June 2020.

Minji Kim is Head, Business Development and Alliance Management at Jounce Therapeutics, founded by Third Rock Ventures and scientific key opinion leaders in the immuno-oncology field. She is a corporate development and strategy professional in the life science industry with nearly 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech companies and academic institutes in the US and Korea.

Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office

Paul Seo is a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He also has served as a judicial clerk for the Los Angeles Superior Court Criminal Writs Center. Before entering law, Paul graduated from the United States Military Academy and served in the United States Army for six years, finishing as a U.S. Army Captain.

Soo Venkatesan is a Nonprofit Advisor at S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation and Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. She has advised a portfolio of nonprofits in the areas of board governance, organizational capacity, scaling impact, and fundraising, bringing two decades of business and nonprofit experience in the finance, investment, and philanthropic sectors to amplify the impact of mission-driven entrepreneurs and leaders.




Dr. Songyee Yoon is President and Chief Strategy Officer of NCSOFT. She is also a chairperson of the NCSOFT Culture Foundation, actively engaging in diverse philanthropic initiatives. Songyee is an accomplished entrepreneur, innovator, and investor, who is well-versed in both technology and business.
